Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming: Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River

Every picture I've ever seen of this canyon has the same sort of tint to it. It almost looks like it's been painted instead of photographed. But take it from someone who has been there, that's the way it looks.

The Grand Canyon is 20 miles long and has a couple of good waterfalls, Upper Falls and Lower Falls. The Upper Falls is an easy walk, the Lower Falls is for those who are in top shape. And be sure to go to Artist Point, where everyone stops for a picture with the canyon in the background. If you are lucky, you'll even see a few artists on Artist Point.
