Miami Beach, Florida: Fountainbleau Hilton Hotel
The Fountainbleau used to be one of the symbols of the old Miami Beach. All the rich and famous people used to stay there. Luckily, the area has made an impressive comeback in the past several years, and Collins Ave. has become trendy again.
This part of the hotel juts out into the street a bit, so the road actually goes around it. The problem is the drawing of the arch, which took place in 1986. People have been known to drive right into the place. Ouch. The Deco District is a great place for a walking tour.
