Sometimes a mention in Roadside America, or its web site, can be a mixed blessing.
This uniquely decorated house in Safety Harbor (near Clearwater), Florida, was mentioned there. Word of mouth did its job from there, and suddenly everyone wanted to see the place. The owners had people strolling about the property all the time, and had to restrict access somewhat. They have been known to give tours for charity.
We were lucky enough to drop by before the occupants were tired of visitors. The bowling balls are in the front, have all sorts of colors, and are an interesting way of setting off gardens.
