St. Petersburg, Russia: Peterhof Park and Gardens

This entry basically is an excuse to show a nice photo. 

When you walk out of the main palace, this is the view from the top of the steps. The long pool runs down to the Gulf of Finland. Catherine the Great gets a lot of the credit for the layout.
