St. Mary receives a tribute in the middle of Old Town in Passau. It's the centerpiece of a relatively small square.
At least Mary - the patron saint of Bavaria - has company here. There are three angels attached to the monument, and they represent the three rivers of the city. Therefore it's something of a political statement, but also a tribute to the city itself.
