The name of the building is 20 Fenchurch Street, after its address. Its unofficial name is "The Walkie-Talkie," because of its curved shape. It goes 38 stories into the sky, and is located in the middle of a business district. The building opened in 2014.
The top is what we've come to see. The highest three floors are open to the public, and they offer great views of the riverfront as well as the surrounding city. The landscaping is done in a very attractive way, making it London's highest garden. You can enjoy the views and the garden from a restaurant during a visit.
By the way, there was a big problem that popped up during construction. The shiny building tended to reflect sunlight onto the street, causing temperatures to rise to almost 200 degrees on that spot. A sunbreaker was added to solve the problem.
