OK, the heading probably gave you a clue. It's London, which is about 47 percent green. That includes areas such as cemeteries, woods, and gardens. Even so, the number is still 20 percent in terms of public parks.
The highlight of all of that green must be St. James's Park. It's located between Buckingham Palace and the major government buildings of the country, and it's terrific.
The area checks in at 57 acres, and has been serving the country since the 1530s. King Henry VIII used it as a fenced-in era for deer in the 1530s. As you'd expect, there's been some remodeling over the years. Even so, it's a great place for a walk on a sunny day - particularly in the spring.
