Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta: Cameron Lake

It's a little tough to see much of the land in Waterton Lakes National Park, because the terrain is rather rugged. However, Cameron Lake is fine for exploring even by lightweights like me.

The lake runs north-south, so that this picture actually is of United States territory even though it was taken in Canada. No customs agents around, though.

By the way, we couldn't get much closer than this in mid-June. Something about an avalanche zone stopped us in our tracks. This was close enough, thank you.
