Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta: Red Rock Canyon
You probably weren't expecting blue rocks, right?
A small part of Waterton Lakes National Park has been carved away by a stream, revealing the minerals below. It's located at the end of Red Rock Parkway, less than 30 minutes from the town. You can see the path in the upper left hand corner of the picture; visitors can take a leisurely 15-minute walk around the small canyon.
This looked particularly good in late spring with all of the water, but it has to be nice anytime.
