Quincy, Massachusetts: The Old House

For those wishing to learn about all things John Adams, the second President of the United States, the Adams National Historical Park is the place to go.

This was built in 1731. The Old House was in the Adams Family for well over a century, and it's been restored to look like it did when John and Abigail lived there. John's office is shown above. By the way, there is a fine garden outside.

This is open to the public from May through October. Visitors take a shuttle bus to the site (135 Adams St., not so coincidentally), and guided tours are given. It's holding up pretty darn well.
