Harwich, England - Margrethe Maersk Class Ship

Our cruise line had a little company when we left the port in Harwich. Say hello to a Margrethe Maersk Class Ship.

This isn't the biggest ship in the world, as it's about 30 meters short of that distinction. Still, at 367 meters long, it's three times as long as a football field more or less. It's about 43 meters across and checks in with a deadweight of 115,993 tons.

How big are these ships? Well, according to the website, vessels in this class could hold in theory 180 million bottles of wine. And they have the power of 11 locomotives, which certainly tops Superman's strength.
