What a difference a day makes.
Jakob Reumann, Victor Adler and Ferdinand Hanusch are shown in the statue. They were all members of the Social Democratic Party. The statue was introduced in 1928, and promptly went into storage for one reason or another. In other words, the conservatives and fascists weren't too thrilled by having liberals on the statue. But it was brought back into view in 1948, the 30th anniversary of the pronouncement. People bring them, um, the statue, flowers every November 12 to celebrate the day.
Simple but effective.
