Little Port, Newfoundland

The road on the peninsula near Corner Brook comes to a pleasant ending in Little Port. It's a natural harbor surrounded by some steep mountains. There's a nice dock in the middle of the water, and a few services for boats on the shore. 

There is a lighthouse on the end of the peninsula, but it can't be seen from the shoreline of the port. You can walk there ... sort of. A trail was set up by the authorities. However, it is rated as "extreme" and requires ropes to navigate. 

In other words, it sounds a bit out of our weight class. But you are welcome to try if you are up for a challenge.
