It's the Numismatic Museum of Athens, and it covers the subject rather thoroughly. How about a 600,000 items in the building? There are coins, stamps, weights and paper currency, plus some related items like medals. It's right up there with the world' best collection. Those in America looking for an equivalent can find one at the American Numismatic Society in New York.
As you'd expect, all sorts of items have been dug out over the years during Athens' attempts to reclaim its past, and some of them are currency. The collection was held by the National Museum of Greece for a while, starting in the 1800s, The museum actually became independent in two different centuries. In 1984, it found its own home, and after some renovating opened for business in 1988. There are 12,000 books inside.
