Chapman's Peak Drive is carved out of a rugged and beautiful coastline, as the road overlooks Hout Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The mountain on the left is known as the Sentinel. As you'd expect, the real estate in this part of the country is rather pricey.
This section of the road goes for more than five miles. They even squeezed a toll booth along the way. This is not the place to make time while driving, but you won't see many prettier roads anywhere.
