The structure, which houses a children's museum, is going through a large renovation. A new city museum is part of the overall plan.
Children's Town reopened in 2016. That was too late for a 2015 tourist, but at least we got to see the place, which is on the edge of Senate Square. The kids who returned should be headed for college by now.
