Brattleboro, Vermont: Creamery Bridge
It wouldn't be an Web site on Vermont without a covered bridge. Well, here it is -- located around Brattleboro in the southeast corner of the state. The town uses the slogan, "Where Vermont Begins," although we had to do some driving to get there.
Visitors to Vermont can find maps at tourist centers about where covered bridges are located. What do you do when you find one? Drive through it while noticing how dark it is in there, stop at the other side, take a picture (see above), drive back through the bridge, and go on to your destination. There aren't too many left, so enjoy them while you can.
