Princeton, New Jersey: Princeton Cemetery

We take a little satisfaction with seeing relatively famous people in a cemetery. If nothing else, you can tell something about the person by how he or she chose to be remembered. Besides, who know who might have stood on the same spot as you when looking at the gravesite.

The one in Princeton is a good one for such purposes, as there are all sorts of celebrities buried in Princeton Cemetery. The biggest is President Grover Cleveland. Around my part of the world, he is remembered as a Buffalo mayor who went on to do big things.

More important to candy-eaters is the fact that Grover's daughter, Ruth, was laid to rest by her father. That's right -- as in Baby Ruth. (You'll have to look carefully.) The confection was named after her, and not after baseball star Babe Ruth.

Aaron Burr isn't far from the Clevelands, and I would guess that he might have become much more popular in recent years. That's because of his role in the play "Hamilton." Pollster George Gallup is here, and so are a couple of relatively famous diplomats: George Ball and George Kennan (the guy who came up with containment policy concerning the Soviet Union after World War II). By George, that's a lot of Georges in one place.

They along with others are covered in the video.
