Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta: Blakiston Falls


Blakiston Falls is located about a mile from the parking lot from Red Rock Canyon. The trail is pretty well marked, and it's a pleasant enough stroll through the forest.

Once there, you'll find the waterfall above. A couple of walking ramps have been constructed, so it's easy to get nice and close to the falls.

I found a picture on the Internet taking from the same vantage point, but before the observation point was constructed. Interestingly enough, a lone tree stood where the deck is now. Looks like it was a casualty of the project.
