St. Augustine, Florida: Alligator Farm
What's for lunch? These guys are hungry.
One of the nicest surprises of St. Augustine is the Alligator Farm, located on Route A1A near the ocean. You can't see much of it from the road, and the parking lot is pretty small. That makes it quite astonishing when you get inside.
One of the first sights makes quite an impression -- a white alligator. Then you move on to the main lake in essentially the middle of the park, where you see the fellows shown. They really are big. The frequent instructional shows sometimes are held on the other side of the fence.
