Bucharest, Romania: Zlătari Church

When you go to the Old Town of a European city, you expect to see some old churches. Here's an interesting one from Bucharest.

The Zlatari Church sits on a site that has hosted for a church since the 1600s. Zlatari translates to gold or silversmiths. A new church went up in 1705, only to be damaged by a pair of 19th century earthquakes. They started over in 1850, did some restoration in 1907, and worked on it some more around 1972.

This is an historic monument according to Romania, so it's worth a look.
