Welcome to the waterfront of downtown Helsinki. It's a very active part of town, thanks to a market square, some government buildings, boat rides, etc. The Ferris wheel is a nice addition to the list of attractions. It takes about 12 minutes, as it goes around three or four times during the course of a ticketed stay.
Yes, it offers nice views of the area from above. But this must be the only such wheel where you can sit and perspire a bit. It can be rented for 240 Euros for an hour, although it looks like extras can be purchased as well. You do get to visit a special lounge in the process. There is only one such compartment with a sauna; almost all of the rest are rather typical of the ride that other locations offer.
Admit it. You want to see what SkySauna looks like.
