Neiden, Norway: Skoltefossen

The border between Norway and Finland couldn't be more dull in one area of the boundary between the countries. There are signs on both sides of a stream, with a couple of little bridges (one for cars, one for livestock) crossing the border. Norway does have a border control office not far from the border, but it sure didn't look like they were too busy. No passport needed for this trip.

At least there's a nice scenic wonder in the neighborhood. Shortly after entering Norwegian territory, the road goes by Skoltefossen - a very impressive waterfall. The rapids around it are part of the Neidenelv River; you're on your own about how to say that one. That body of water heads north and east a bit before landing in the Arctic Ocean near Kirkenes.

I'd show you a video of the water, but you probably get the idea already.
