Niagara Falls, New York: Great Lakes 360

The Niagara Aquarium in Niagara Falls became a little bigger since my last visit.

The facility has expanded, in a sense. It has taken over a building just down the hill from its main theater of operation, and made it part of the family. Since it is dedicated to local matters - not a bad idea, since you can see part of the Great Lakes watershed from the roof - the new place is called "Great Lakes 360."

There are 16 exhibits in the circular first floor of the new place, shown here. You can see some live creatures, learning about others in the area, and receive a bit of an education on the ecosystem.

Best of all, there's no extra charge for the visit. If you pay to get in one building, it covers the other one - which is covered elsewhere in this blog. All it takes is a walk down a path.
