The Royal Yacht Britannia served Queen Elizabeth and her family from 1954 until 1998. You could be comfortable there.
The boat was busy during its time of active service. It traveled more than one million nautical miles, and visited 600 ports in 135 countries. It checks in at 412 feet. If it needed to be described quickly, the words classy and comfortable come to mind. There are bedrooms and office space for the Queen as well as a places to relax (Sun Lounge, Verandah Deck) as well as a formal dining area (shown here). I believe that President Clinton, Nelson Mandela and Frank Sinatra all had a meal on this boat.
By 1994, the Britannia had reached the point that a major renovation would be needed to keep it as a working ship. But it just wasn't worth the cost. In 1997, the government decided not to replace it. The Queen supposedly cried at the decommission ceremony.
But the Britannia lives on as a floating museum. It's located in the Port of Leith. More than 300,000 people go through it each year, and a lunch area is available. You can even rent out the Britannia for private events.
