The Guinness people say this is the shallowest commercial building in the world. I'm convinced.
The Sam Kee Building in Vancouver is all of six feet deep. Apparently Pender Street was widened at one point in its history, leaving a very oddly shaped piece of land. The city apparently dared Chang Kee to use it for a building, and the dare was taken. This is the result; people really do work here.
