Bamberg, Germany: Neptune Fountain

It's rare that the word "trident" pops up here, but it is often appropriate when Neptune is discussed. He's rarely seen without one.

Sure enough, Nepture is well equipped to fend off the bad guys with his trident in his photo. It is located in the Green Market in the new part of Bamburg. The locals apparently call it Gabelmann, which translates to "Fork Man." I couldn't find any details about the history of the piece.

It's said to be a natural meeting place for people in Bamberg. Seems like a fine idea.
