That's an easy one. It's right around the spot where this statue is located. The Georgia Dome hosted a lot of different events during its lifespan, including some from the Olympics.
So let's salute the sculptor, Richard MacDonald, who created this striking bit of art. It's a gymnast, and he's practicing his moves between the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Georgia World Congress Center. He finished it before the 1996 Games, and donated it as a gift. It was taken around the country a bit before arriving in Georgia prior to the Olympics.
The statue somehow has come up with a variety of names over the years. Do you like Flair Across America? The Flair? Flair Across America: The Gymnast? I guess they all work.
