Calgary, Alberta: Olympic Park

The 1988 Winter Olympics were held in Calgary. While the Games have come and gone, the facilities remain. They have become a year-round training center, location for events, and tourist attraction.

Note the word "winter" in that description. That means June might not be the ideal time to visit the place. The view from the top of the ski jump isn't quite as pretty without the snow. But it's still a mighty impressive (read scary) sight to be at the top of the ramp.
