Welcome to the best picture of the Fay Wray Fountain on the Internet. I know. I've looked.
Anyone who knows a little about motion picture history knows Fay Wray from her role in the original King Kong. You probably didn't know that she came from this part of Alberta, and had a long career in the movies.
In 1962, Cardston welcomed Wray back, and set up this fountain in tribute. Yes, it's an unusual tribute, but at least it's easy to find -- just follow the signs of the large ape. (It's quite close to the Remington Carriage Museum.)
"Twas beauty that killed the beast."
