This is the world's second largest glacier lake (14 miles long), according to an Alberta travel site, and there's no reason to doubt it. It's also one of the coldest, as you'd freeze pretty quickly in the water at almost any time of the year. Not shown is Spirit Island, which is a small bit of land in the middle of lake and is in every photographic essay of the area ever published. So instead, we'll give you this nice view the deep blue water and the surrounding mountains.
