Rothenburg, Germany: Town Hall

As you might expect, this building just dominates the landscape of the Marketplace in Rothenburg. The Town Hall went up in the 1570s, and is a great example of architecture of the Renaissance.

There is a tower in the Town Hall that offers some great views of the surrounding area. Just be warned - it's a tough, narrow climb that includes a ladder and you can only stay for five minutes. Do you really want that photograph?
